Snowfall record set in Windsor

So far in November, Windsor has received 17.6 cm of snow, that's about three times the amount of snow the city normally gets in the entire month.

Windsor broke another weather record Wednesday.

Environment Canada says a record 9.8 cm of snow fell at Windsor airport yesterday.

The previous record was set in 1972 when 6.6 centimetres of snow fell.

So far in November, Windsor has received 17.6 cm of snow, that's about three times the amount of snow the city normally gets in the entire month.

Windsor also set a new-record low temperature for Nov. 19 on Wednesday.

The early-morning low dropped to -10.2 C at Windsor International Airport.

The previous record set in 1986 was -6.3 C at the airport.
