Wallaceburg, Ont., motorcyclist in hospital with 'life-threatening' injuries, police say

Officers were dispatched around 10 p.m. ET Monday to an area of Croton Line between Irish School Road and Tramway Road in Wallaceburg, Ont., after a motorcycle crashed near Dresden.

AWallaceburg man is in hospital with "life-threatening" injuries after his motorcycle crashed near Dresden,Chatham-Kent police say.

According to authorities, officers were dispatched around 10 p.m. ET Monday to an area of Croton Line between Irish School Road and Tramway Road.

A motorcycle was found in a ditch, but the driver couldn't be found, police say.

It was later learned by investigators the 25-year-old was taken to hospital by friends.

Police say it's believed to be a single-vehicle accident but that the investigation continues.

He has since been transported to a Windsor hospital for further medical care.

Police hopeanyone with information related to the incident will contact them.
