Windsor gets nearly $2.5M in latest casino-hosting payment
Windsor received nearly $2.5 million from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. on Wednesday, as part of its ongoing compensation for hosting Caesars Windsor.
Windsor received nearly $2.5 million from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. on Wednesday, as part of its ongoing compensation for hosting Caesars Windsor.
The $2,456,187 non-tax gaming revenuepayment covered the July-to-September period. This was about three-quarters of what the city received in the previous quarter.
The city gets a quarterly payment based on a formula that has been established for municipalities that host OLG facilities.
The lottery corporation said that Windsor has received more than $23.4 million to date in non-tax gaming revenue.
