Windsor man prints 10K book at library self-printing centre

A local man is has used the self-publishing centre at the Windsor's public library to print the 10,000 book Thursday afternoon.

A local manhas used the self-publishing centre at the Windsor's public library to print the 10,000 book Thursday afternoon.

Leonard J. Fox has written To Save a Life: The Making of a Volunteer Ambulance Service, which rolled out of the library's Xerox Espresso Book Machine.

The book is a history of the development and evolution of the Amherstburg, Anderdon, and Malden Volunteer Ambulance Service to celebrate the milestone the centre printed the book for Fox free of charge.

Fox pledged to donate the money he would have paid to print the book to charity.

The self-publishing centre was opened at the Windsor Public Library in 2012.
