The provincial lottery corporation cut a $3.2-million cheque to Windsor on Tuesday, as compensation for the city hosting Caesars Windsor during the most recent quarter.
Tuesday's non-tax revenue gaming payment of $3,204,368 covered the April-to-June quarter.
That was up from nearly $1.9million the city was paid in the previous quarter.
The payment is based on a formula that has been laid out for municipalities hosting Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. facilities.
The OLG says Windsor has received more than $21 million from non-tax gaming revenue to date.
