Windsor police arrest 6th person in murder investigation

Windsor police have arresteda sixth person in connection to the murder investigation of a missing Windsor man.

Officersarrested a 21-year old woman Thursday morning near Parent Avenueand Ellis Street, Windsor police said Thursday afternoon. She faces a first-degree murder charge.

The woman is one of six charged with the death of27-year-old Dalton Robert Bartnik. Bartnik was reported missing on the evening of May 24, two months after he was last seen.

An investigation by the Windsor Police Major Crimes Unit revealed that Bartnik was likely killed around April 1,however, his remains haven't been recovered.

All the arrests have come in the last several days.

Windsor police officials sayone of the six peoplearrested was already in their custody on unrelated charges.
