Windsor police identify male suspect after Lincoln Road stabbing

Windsor police say a woman has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a stabbing on Lincoln Road.

A woman has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a stabbing took place Wednesday.

Windsor police responded to a call for a reported stabbing shortly after 1p.m. at 876 Lincoln Road.

Police say the suspect, Dana Reardon, is outstanding. The 46-year-old isdescribed as:

  • A white male.
  • Standing 5'6"
  • Weighing 120 to 130 pounds.
  • Having a slender build with short, brown hair and hazel eyes.

According to Const. Talya Natyshak, the suspect may have been wearing "an orange safety vest and large headphones" at the time of the incident.

Concerns about neighbourhood safety

Fatima Ajrouche has lived with her parents and siblings on Lincoln Road for five years.

She said that she doesn't feel her neighbourhood is safe anymore.

"It's scary to see that happening in our neighbourhood," said Ajrouche."I don't like what's going on."
