Adele's Hello 1st song to sell 1 million tracks in a week

Adele's comeback track Hello is already a record-setter, becoming the first song to sell one million tracks in a week.

Adele's Hellohas become the first song to sell one million tracks in a week.

Nielsen Music said Monday that Adele's comeback track sold 1.11 million digital songs, setting a record. Flo Rida's Right Roundpreviously had the record for most downloads in a week with 636,000.

Helloalso debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart this week.

It is Adele's fourth No. 1 on the chart following Rolling In the Deep,Someone Like Youand Set Fire to the Rain.

Dolan was asked by Adele's record label to make the video for the first single for her album, 25. So he accepted!

The track's accompanying music video, released Oct. 23 and directed by Quebecfilmmaker Xavier Dolan, has also set several records.

Vevo saidthat with 27.7 million views, Hello had overtaken Taylor Swift's Bad Bloodfor most single-dayviews. Meanwhile,YouTube announced that Hello has becomethe second-fastest video to reach 100 million views on YouTube (trailing Korean popstarPsy'sGangnam Style followup Gentleman).
