Comedian Amy Schumeraccepted Glamour Magazine's Trailblazer of the Year Award onWednesday nightwith an incredible speech that roved between repeated mentions of genitalia and positive body image.

The 34-year-oldSchumer launchedinto the candid, profanity-lacedfive-minute spielby taking aim at singerEllie Goulding, who hadaccepted an award earlier in the night.Goulding thanked the magazine for supporting "real women" like her.

"I love Ellie being like, 'Thank youfor loving real people,' and she's like, a f---ingsupermodel," Schumer said, mincing no words. "Like the little uglies, you found us."

"I'm probably 160 pounds right now and I can catch a d--k whenever I want. Like, that's the truth," she added to a roar of laughter and applause from the crowd.

It's the type of self-deprecating and sharp humour that propelled her rise to comedic stardom, even if some in the audience weren't taken by her female-centric jokes.

"Some of the guys are not even remotely smiling. And you know what? I don't live here, I don't care," she said.

Her speech was punctuated by long pauses, loud ums and a few non sequiturs but ultimately captured what it's like not only as afemale comedian, but a woman in show business who doesn't fit a certain mold.

She thanked Glamour for giving her a voice to talk about losing, and then finding, her self-esteem.

"I'm not going to apologize for who I am and I'm actually going to love the skin that I'm in and not be like striving for some other version of myself."
