Dumb and Dumber To: FILM REVIEW

Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels have emptied their heads at an attempt to fill theatres with the sequel to their '90s smash hit, Dumb and Dumber To (yes, the spelling error is intentional).

It's been twenty years since we last saw the dimwit duo, Lloyd Christmas (Carrey) and Harry Dunne (Daniels), and yet they're no wiser for their years.

Like the original, the IQ-impairedpair must head out on a road trip. This time, they're tracking down Harry'sadopted daughter for a much-needed liver transplant. But don't let the serious-sounding plot fool you. The "avalanche of jokes aimed at the netherregions" startsin the first two minutes of the film,saysCBC's film critic, Eli Glasner.

"As Lloyd, Jim Carrey is [directors] theFarrelly brothers' ultimate weapon:crude, rude and willing to do anything for a laugh."

And laugh you willif tasteless, slapstick and sometimes plain stupid jokes are your thing.
