The iconic mid-century home of fictional character Cameron Fryein the classic 1986 film Ferris Bueller's Day Off is once again back on the market. But, this time, the reducedprice might be right for a film buff with a padded pocketbook.
The four-bedroom, four-bathroom, metal and glass house in Chicago's upscale Highland Park neighbourhood has a price tag of $1.5 million US.
"The Rose House"first went on the market for $2.3 million when the original owner died in 2009, butit failed to sell andthe the price has dropped considerably.
The house is best known for the scene when Ferris Bueller's best friend Frye bucked against his father's oppressive manner by literally kicking his father'svintage Ferrarioff a jack and though the floor to ceiling glass in the home's pavilion.
