For years, Jordan Peelehasriffed on racism and pop culture to hilarious effect asone half of the comedic duoKey and Peele. But none of his past work hasprepared us for his twisted upcoming directorial debutGet Out.

The horror film'snewly-released trailerbegins with Chris (Daniel Kaluuya) and hisgirlfriend Rose (Allison Williams) preparing to visitherparents. He teases her about bringing home a black boyfriend and there's certainly tension when the couple arrive on the plush estate butthe visit soon goes sideways, withblack employees acting strangely andCatherine Keener turning up as a mom with evil powers of hypnosis.

It all suggests that Peelehas something seriously scaryup his sleeves.

The son of a white mother and black father,Peele has shown a knack forexploring the reality and absurditiesof race in America.
