'It's not a publicity stunt': Tom Hiddleston on dating Taylor Swift

Hiddleswift is not a stunt,according to one-half of the headline-grabbing pop culture couple of the moment.

Tom Hiddleston, freshly nominated for an Emmy Award for his leading rolein the critically acclaimed AMC miniseriesThe Night Manager, addressed rumours about his personal life during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter on Thursday.

"Well, um. How best to put this?" Hiddleston, chuckling, told the industry publication.

"The truth is that Taylor Swift and I are together, and we're very happy. Thanks for asking."

Later, he reiterated: "That's the truth. It's not a publicity stunt."

This summer has been eventful forthe British actor,who was also one of the executiveproducers ofThe Night Manager alongside co-star Hugh Laurie.
