The Stratford, Ont.-raised pop sensation strapped on his skates with England'sManchester Storm ice hockey club Tuesday, days after storming off the stage in Manchesterand calling anaudience "obnoxious" in Birmingham.

Despite his cranky reputation, and increasingly contentious relationship with his fans, the Storm's general manager says the Sorry singerleft his attitude in the locker room and was a pleasure to have on the ice.

"He got some bad press whilst in Manchester," writes Neil Russell, on the team's website,"but Ihave to say, he was a very polite, mannerly andrespectful to us all during his visit."

In the summer, he shuttered his Instagram account saying that he was being trolled over images he posted with his girlfriend.
