Kim Kardashian emerges after Paris robbery, but Keeping Up with the Kardashians on hold

Kim Kardashian West has ventured out from her New York flat after being holed up since being robbed in Paris earlier this week, but the appearance was followed by news that her popular reality show is being put on hold.

KimKardashianWest has ventured out from herNew York flatafter being holed up with family and friends since being robbed in Paris, but the appearance was followed by news that her hit reality show is being put on hold.

The TV and social media star, wearing a baseball cap and a whitehoodiethat partially obscured her face, was holding daughter North as she got into a waiting SUV on Thursday. HusbandKanyeWest followed close behind with their infant son, Saint.

Police in Paris say they are investigating the heist early Monday in which armed robbers forced their way into the private residence where she was staying, tied her up and locked her in a bathroom, then stole $10 US million worth of jewelry.No arrests have been made.

RapperWest, who cut short a New York concert the night of the crime, cancelled a few shows in the aftermath but is scheduled to return to the stage in Chicago on Friday night.

Later Thursday,E! Network revealedit has shut down production on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

"Kim's well-being is our core focus right now," aspokesperson for the networktold industry publicationVariety, adding that"no decision has been made as to when production will resume."

E! said in a statement earlier this weekthat the show wasn't filming at the time of the robbery.

Kardashian West, known for prolific posting on social media, has been publicly silent since the ordeal.

One of her sisters, Kourtney Kardashian, posted a page from a devotional late Wednesday after Caitlyn Jenner wished stepdaughter Kim well on Instagram.

"Remember," Kourtney's passage begins on Twitter, "that joy is not dependent on your circumstances."
