Lorde, Imagine Dragons, Iggy Azalea set to appear at 2017 iHeartRadio MMVAs

Lorde is headed to this year's iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards but whether her lamp will make an encore performance remains to be seen.

The New Zealand-raised musician is among the first round of artists announced for the televised street party in Toronto on June 18.

It marks Lorde's second time at the MMVAs. The singer created a viral moment at the event in 2014 when she prominently featured a floor lamp in her performance of hitsTeamandTennis Court.

The moment caught fire on social media and inspired the Twitter account "LordesLamp" in response to the unusual performance.

Other artists slated to perform include Iggy Azalea, singer-songwriter Julia Michaels,Cake By the Oceansingers DNCE, and Imagine Dragons, known for their massive hits Radioactiveand Demons.

A lone Canadian musician Toronto hip hop artist Jazz Cartier has been announced as a performer so far but more names are expected in the coming weeks.
