List of Juno Awards winners

Charlotte Cardin, The Beaches and Talk took home top honours at the 53rd annual Juno Awards in Halifax on Sunday night.

Cardinaccepted her award after a performance by Talk, who was nominated in the same category forLord of the Flies & Birds & Bees.

"Album of the year, baby!" Cardin said on stage. "None of this would make any sense and wouldn't exist without my fans. So thank you so much for your support. I'm so grateful."

Talk later won the Juno for breakthrough artist of the year.

The Beaches kicked off Sunday night's awards ceremony with their winfor group of the year.

Canadian rapper and record producer Maestro Fresh Wes was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, whileTegan and Sara accepted the Humanitarian Award.

Some of the most highly anticipatedawardswere saved for Sunday night. The ceremony, which wasbroadcast live, is hosted by NellyFurtado.

The Beaches divided on thanking Brett after Junos rock win

It's been a monster year for the Toronto rockers after their massive breakup hit Blame Brett took off. The CBC's Eli Glasner asked whether the ex at the heart of their 2023 recording would get some appreciation after The Beaches took home a Juno for rock album of the year.

Big winners on Saturday night

During Saturday's ceremony, Calgary's Tate McRae emerged as a big winner from the first night of the Juno Awards, taking home her first two Junos with artist of the year and single of the year for her chart-topping pop hit Greedy.

Tobi took also took home two awards on Saturday, for rap single and rap album of the year, and Aysanabee won songwriter of the year and alternative album of the year.

Shawn Everett was answering questions about winning producer of the year at the Juno Awards on Saturday in Halifax when it was announced at the ongoing show that he also won engineer of the year. What followed was a surreal but sweet moment at the award show.

Orchestresymphonique de Montralracked up two awards to hit a career totalof 40, tying the group withCline Dion for the fourth most Juno wins in history, while Grammy-winning producer Shawn Everett who has worked with the likes of Adele, Miley Cyrus and Kacey Musgraves won two production awards.
