Olivia Rodrigo bounces back after falling through hole on stage

Pop star Olivia Rodrigo was running and facing the crowd at Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena when she abruptly fell into an opening in the stage. She bounced back almost immediately, pulling herself up and addressing the audience.

Pop star Olivia Rodrigo made an unfortunate trip down under during the Australian leg of her world tour, falling through a hole in the stage on Monday.

The Drivers License singer was running and facing the crowd at Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena when she abruptly fell into an opening. She bounced back almost immediately, pulling herself back up and addressing the audience.

"Oh my God, that was fun ... I'm OK!" Rodrigosaid. "Sometimes there's just a hole in the stage. That's alright."

The Grammy Award-winning singer then went right back to her energetic banter.

"Where was I?" she said. "How are we doing tonight, Melbourne?"

Rodrigo later posted a video with a loop of the incidentto her own TikTok with the caption"#subtleforeshadowing," and commented,"I am ok hahaha" with a heart emoji. The video had1.6 million likes by Wednesday afternoon.

The show was herfourth in Melbourne as part of theGuts World Tour, which kicked off in February in North America and will break for the winter after this month's Australia run.

The 21-year-old made her name starring on Disney shows Bizaardvark and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, before releasing her debut albumSourin 2021. Itwon three Grammy Awards.

Her followupGuts, featuring theBillboard-topping singleVampire, was released in 2023.
