Comedian Steve Martin talks to AGO curator Andrew Hunter about why he is so passionate about Group of Seven painter Lawren Harris, so much so that he agreed to curate a show of the Canadian icon's works.

Comedian Steve Martin is in Toronto today talking to Art Gallery of Ontario curator Andrew Hunter about why he'sso passionate about Group of Seven painter Lawren Harris so much sothat he agreed to curate a travelling exhibition of the Canadian icon's works.

His exhibition, The Idea of North: The Paintings of Lawren Harris, opens at the AGO on Canada Day, after having debuted in Los Angeles at the Hammer Museum and also stopped at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts earlier this year.

The show runs throughSept. 18, 2016.
