Today, Rob Ford hands the keys to the mayor's office over to his successor, John Tory. Ford's four-year term, which began with vows to cut the "gravy train," was marked by scandals, rumours, threats and a lengthy police investigation. But through it all, Ford's supporters have remained steadfast in their loyalty, and have even pledged to return him to the mayor's office in the next election (in 2018).
