Canada election 2015: Where the leaders are Friday

Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau is in Toronto today, where he'll be hoping some of the shine on the red hot Blue Jays will rub off on him.

Trudeau is slated to do some batting practice for the benefit of the cameras, before heading to a nearby pub to hob nob with some Jays fans. Before that, however, he'll be in Richmond Hill, just north of the city, to make an announcement.

Both the New Democrat leader, Tom Mulcair, and his Conservative counterpart Stephen Harper have already done the baseball thing in Toronto using images to their advantage on social media even though the Jays lost both times the politicians were watching.

Mulcair has one campaign event today, stopping in the morning at a senior citizen's home in Brossard, Que. He was confirmed as the party's candidate in his Outremont riding Thursday evening.

The Harper campaign is in Whitehorse, where the Conservative leader is expected to make an environmental announcement.

Green Leader Elizabeth may will be visiting the mayor of Montreal at City Hall, and doing some campaigning in the city, while Bloc Qubcois Leader Gilles Duceppe will be making a public security announcement, also in Montreal.
