Canada election 2015: Where the leaders are Tuesday

Canada's federal political leaders are starting to converge in the Greater Toronto Area ahead of the first leaders' debate of the campaign in Toronto this week.

Conservative Party Leader Stephen Harper is expected to remain in the area Tuesday following a Monday night rally in Ajax, on the outskirts of Toronto. He is expected to make one of his mostcostly policy announcements of the campaign, a tax measure said to target millions of families.

Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau will be on the other side of the GTA, starting his day earlyat theMississaugaoffice of an event-planning company that does political rallies and campaign launches. The website of the company, Bespoke Events, shows it has designeda number of federal and provincialLiberal Party events in the past.

After a down day, NDP Leader TomMulcair will be at a restaurant inMontreal's Ville-MarieLe Sud-Ouestle-des-Soeursriding on Tuesday.

Green Party Leader Elizabeth May is spending Tuesday travelling from her Victoria, B.C.-area riding to Toronto.

All four leaders will be in TorontoThursday for the leaders' debate hosted by Maclean's. Bloc Qubcois Leader Gilles Duceppe was not invited to take part.
