Chrystia Freeland crashes men-only club, but guy in bathrobe steals the show

Liberal candidateChrystia Freelandcrashed the Toronto men-only club that was supposed to host a speech by Finance Minister Joe Oliver on Wednesday afternoon.

Freelandsaid she was upset that Oliver planned to deliver a economic speech in the private Cambridge Club, which catersto business executives. The lunchtime talk was cancelled just two hours before it was supposed to start after facing criticism on social media.

Though Oliver wasn't there, Freelandand members of the mediawent anyway.She was greeted in the lobby of the hotel where the club is housed by itsmanager and an unidentifiedman in a bathrobe and sneakers, who has since captured the imagination of the internet.

The bathrobe guycaught quite a few people off guard (thoughapparently it's normal tolounge in a towel at the club).

Just hours after he made his debut, there were already big expectations.

One Canadian Press reportereven suggested the Bathrobe Guyrun for public office.

Others weren't as impressed.
