Conservatives are meeting in Calgary for a biannual policy convention with a messy Senate expense scandal hanging over their heads.

New allegations from Senator Mike Duffy about the involvement of the Prime Minister's Office in an attempt to make the controversy over his expenses "go away" has led to renewed furor in the House of Commons and to Prime Minister Stephen Harper pointing to a "deception" orchestrated by his former chief of staff, Nigel Wright.

Will the scandal and the Duffy-Wright affair overshadow the gathering, or will Harper succeed in rallying the party faithful?

Kady O'Malley is in Calgary for the convention, and took your questions and comments about the Conservative Party convention. Read a recap of the live chat below.
