Under the federal government's proposed electoral changes,results wouldcome out sooner, parties would be allowed to spend more during campaigns and there would be extra tools to crack on robocalls.

Those are just some of the proposed measures announced this week by the minister responsible for democratic reform, Pierre Poilievre.
