Supreme Court Justice Clment Gascon has been safely found, police say
Ottawa Police Service had earlier issued a notice asking for the public's help in locating the 59-year-old
Ottawa police saythat Supreme Court Justice Clment Gasconhas been safely found.
"Missing person, Clement Gascon, 59, has been located safe and sound. Thank you for your assistance," the Ottawa Police Service said on Twitter.
Earlier Wednesday evening, Ottawa police hadissued a notice, asking for the public's help in locating Gascon,who was last seen Wednesday around 1:20 p.m. in the 300 block of Wellington Street.

Gascon is due to retire from his position on the country's top court on Sept. 15.
Born in Montreal in 1960, Gascontaught business, labour and construction law at the Universit du Qubec andMcGill University and for the Quebec bar. He was appointed to the Quebec Court of Appeal in 2012 after servingon the bench of the Quebec Superior Court from 2002.
