The RCMP have seized a series of documents from the accounting firm Deloitte relating to the investigation of Senator Pamela Wallin and the Senate spending scandal, according to documents filed with a court Monday.

The documents include Wallin's travel claims, her electronic and handwritten calendars, committee attendance reports, emails, correspondence relating to her primary and secondary residence claims and credit card and billing statements.

Deloitte consented to give the RCMP's sensitive and international investigations unit the documents, according to a statement signed by Deloitte auditor Gary Timm.

The RCMP went to court last fall to obtain the documents. The materials were seized in December.

Wallin, along with senators Mike Duffy and Patrick Brazeau, was suspended from the Senate without pay on Nov. 5 for filing improper expense claims. The suspensions will last for the remainder of the parliamentary session.
