This week's number: 47.

The number:

47

The source: Nanos IRPP survey, Apri 13-14

The number is from a random representative online survey of 1,002 Canadians aged 18 and over, conducted by Nanos Research April 13-14, 2012. See more onthe source data here.

The "perfect 10" ranking by nearly half of respondentssuggests that management of a province's money is the mostimportant consideration for voters when choosing a premierand may help explain the recent electoral success of incumbent premiers in Alberta, Saskatchewan and even Ontario.
