Amazon.com will start offering custom 3D-printed products ranging from pendants to bobblehead figurines.

The online retail giant launched its new 3D Printed Products Store in the U.S. Monday. So far, it features "200 unique print-on demand products, many that can be customized by material size, styles and colour variations, and personalized with text and image imprints," Amazon announced in a news release.

The products are being offered by third-party sellers such as Mixee Labs via Amazon's Marketplace platform.

Amazon said its new store will let users "put their individual style on an item they create" using design templates and a 3D preview.

3D printed custom products are already available from competitors such as eBay, which opened its 3D printed products store a year ago.

The online 3D-printed products marketplace Shapeways has been offering 3D printed products for years, and last week announced a partnership with Hasbro to generate designer My Little Pony figurines.
