NASA's New Horizons probe completes historic Pluto flyby

After a 9.5-year, 4.7 billion-kilometre journey to the furthest depths of the solar system, NASA's aptly named New Horizons spacecraft successfully completed a historic flyby of Pluto, snapping the first close-up views of the dwarf planet.
