An eerily humanoid robot shook hands with its human doppelgangerWednesday in front of visitors at a conference in Beijing, China.

Yangyang, the robot, interacted with visitors to the Global Mobile Internet Conference. She shook hands with the public, hugged a woman, and moved her mouth and arms while speaking.

China's Shanghai Yangyang Intellegent Robot Science Service centre and Japanese professor Hiroshi Ishiguro created Yangyang. They hope Yangyang will help popularizerobotics among young people.
