Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer released online

A trailer for directorZack Snyder's highly anticipatedBatman vSuperman: Dawn of Justicewas officially released on Friday, one day after it leaked online.

The trailer begins with a flurry of voices, seemingly news commentators,while the camera zooms in on a darkened statue, set against a brooding cityscape.

One voice wondersaloud,"Is it really surprising that the most powerful man in the world should be a figure of controversy?"

The statue is revealed to be of Superman, and vandalized. "False god" is spray-painted across his chest.

The trailer also features Ben Affleckas Bruce Wayne and his crime-fighting alterego, seenstaring downHenryCavill'sMan of Steel.

"Do you bleed?" he asks Superman."You will."

Snyder released the trailer on Twitterwith the hashtags#NotBlurry and #NotPirated, a nod to the version that was leaked on Thursday.

The film will be released on March 25, 2016, and also stars Amy Adamsreprising her role as Lois Lane,JesseEisenberg as Lex Luthor andGalGadotas Wonder Woman.
