Stephen Harper was in Campbell River, B.C., on Friday to promise$15 million for B.C.'s salmon habitat and marine environment.

At the event, the Conservatives had three kids in Scouts Canada uniforms stand beside the prime minister.

One of them really stood out.

He took thespotlight away from the event.

It wasn't hard to predict where this was all going.

Not everyone was impressed though.

And Scouts Canada isn't too happy he was used in a political photo-op.

A spokesperson for the Conservative campaign says the party welcomed the participation of anyone who was at the event.

And the internetwelcomed"Middle Kid."
