#PaintYourNailsForBruce shows support for Jenner's gender transition

Some men are donning pink, purple and even glitter painted nails Monday in a show of support for Bruce Jenner after the former Olympic-gold-medal decathlete said he identifies as a woman.

Some men are donning pink, purple and even glitter painted nails Monday in a show of support for Bruce Jenner after the former Olympic-gold-medal decathletesaid he identifies as a woman.

"For all intents and purposes, I am a woman," Jenner said during a TV interview Friday with ABC's Diane Sawyer.

His family members, the cast of the reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, tweeted and instagrammed their support. Other celebrities took to social media, including openly transgenderOrange is the New BlackactorLaverne Cox,Oprah Winfrey and Lady Gaga who is known for creating theBorn This Way Foundation to helpamongst other young people theLGBT community.

Kyle and Jackie O, hosts of Australia's KIIS 1065Kyle & Jackie Oshow, asked men to show their support for Jenner and his journey by painting their nails on Monday.

The station offered free nail painting at Sydney's Central station to any men who wanted to participate
in #PaintYourNailsForBruce.

Hughsey& Katehost Dave Hughes joined in and painted his nails an alternating pink and purple. Others in the office carefully painted their nails as well.

Australian artist Reece Mastinpainted his nails black for the occasion.

Other men joined in the cause, and showed off their stylish nails on Twitter and Instagram.
