  • French police say 12 people, including two police officers, were killed and 20 injured.
  • Editor Stphane Charbonnier and threeother prominent cartoonists are among the dead.
  • Security forces are still hunting for three suspects:Frenchmen Said Kouachi and Cherif Kouachi, in their early 30s, as well as 18-year-old Hamyd Mourad, whose nationality wasn't immediately clear.
  • Masked gunmen allegedly shouted "Allahu akbar!" or "God is great!" as they attacked, using assault rifles.
  • Journalist and economist Bernard Maris believed to be among the dead.
