Gunshot breaks record for longest echo in the world

Trevor Cox, an acoustics expert from England, has smashed the world record for the longest echo, recording a gunshot with an echo that lasts 75 seconds.

Trevor Cox, an acoustics expert from England, has smashed the world record for the longest echo.

The teacher of acoustic engineering at the University of Salford in Manchesterrecorded the sound of a gunshotecho that lasts a full 75 seconds.

The echo was recorded in an oil tank in the Scottish Highlands. It shattered the previous record, set in 1970, by 15 seconds.
