Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton scored important victoriesTuesday evening from primary voters in their home state of New York.
Both candidates held rallies in New York City as the results trickled in, while Republican Ted Cruz and DemocratBernie Sanders were already campaigning inPennsylvania which will hold its primary contest next Tuesday.
Results were coming in right after polls closed at 9 p.m.
