How to watch America Votes: Republican National Convention on CBC

Republicans will assemblein Milwaukee on Monday to kick offthe Republican National Convention, where the party will formally nominate Donald Trumpas its presidential candidate in the Nov. 5 U.S. election and approve a party platform.

Republicans will assemblein Milwaukee on Monday to kick offthe Republican National Convention, where the party will formally nominate Donald Trumpas its presidential candidate to take on JoeBiden in the Nov. 5 U.S. election and approve a party platform.

It's expected that Trump will accept the party's nomination for president with a speech on Thursday, the final day of the convention. It'll be the third time Republicans havechosen him as their candidate since the former real estate entrepreneur and reality TV host entered politics in 2015.

An estimated 50,000 people delegates, volunteers, media, visitors and police will gather for the event in the area of the Fiserv Forum near the city's downtown.
