New message purportedly from bin Laden

New videotape surfaces with alleged message from al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.

A new videotape allegedly from al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden has appeared on the internet.

The 19-minute message posted on an Islamic militant website praises Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the slain al-Qaeda leader in Iraq and calls on U.S. President George W. Bush to return Zarqawi's body to his native Jordan.

Zarqawi was killed in a U.S. bombing raid on June 7.

In the audio message bin Laden also vows to continue fighting the U.S. and its allies.

"We will continue, God willing, to fight you and your allies everywhere," he said, "in Iraq and Afghanistan and in Somalia and Sudan until we waste all your money and kill your men."

While thevideo bore the logo of As-Sahab, the al-Qaeda production branch, itsauthenticity has not been confirmed. The CIA has typically performed a voice analysis on similar messages to verify them.

The video does not carry any new images of bin Laden and shows only a still picture of the al-Qaeda leader.

No new video images of him have been seen since October 2004.
