Grard Depardieu parodies airline incident

Grard Depardieu is having some fun with a little incident on an airplane last month that earned him international headlines.

A flight from Paris to Dublin had to be delayed last month, after Depardieu was removed from the plane. He had relieved himself on the carpet after being told that he would have to wait until take-off to use the toilet.

His new 77-second promotion features him as Obelix, a role he has frequently played in the film versions of the Asterix comics. Co-star douard Baer as Asterix is seated beside him in this parody of the airline incident.

"I need a wild boar (sanglier)!" Depardieu tells the stewardess.

"After the takeoff, Monsieur," she says.

"I can't wait I need one now! I'm too hungry," says Obelix.

His response takes place off-camera, before an announcement warns, "Ladies and Gentleman I'm sorry to tell you because of a Frenchman who made a mess everywhere we will need to land."
