What the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change says about the state of our environment

Craig Desson and Duk Han Lee, CBC News Last Updated: March 31, 2014

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has released a report on the global impact of climate change and what it will mean for society in the future. The report follows an earlier one that was released in September of 2013 about the state of the climate.
The findings are based on the work of 309 authors in 70 countries and are billed as a "definitive report of the state of knowledge concerning climate-change impacts, adaptation, and vulnerability.

Below are some projected effects of climate change from the second report, and charts based on in findings in the first report with annotations from Evan Fraser, a professor at the University of Guelph and Piers Forster from the University of Leeds.
