It's that time again.
Yep, March break season is upon us once again, and youngsters across the country are either finishing up their break or counting down the days till their annual week-and-a-half-long holiday begins.
It's one of the most popular times of the year to make a quick jaunt down south or to some other foreign destination. Wherever you go, it's important to be prepared, as this is one of the busiest times of the year for airports, and that can end up costing not only valuable time but also money.
Still, not everyone will be traveling this midwinter break. With people still reeling from an unstable economy, it's no wonder that stay-at-home vacations have become the more popular-- and financially smart -- thing to do this year.
If you have youngsters looking for something to do, why not spend some time with them in the kitchen?
Toronto chef Shaun Smith spoke to three cookbook authors to get some great recipes that parents and kids can make together during the break.
