People across Canada have been shocked by the disturbing details that emerged from Col. Russell Williams's sentencing hearing in Belleville, Ont., this week.

Williams was sentenced to two concurrent terms of life in prison with no chance of parole for 25 years for the first-degree murders of Cpl. Marie-France Comeau and Jessica Lloyd.

Although the court proceedings are over, people directly and indirectly affected by Williams's horrific crimes will continue to deal with confusion, anger and sadness over these killings and his other crimes.

Have you been affected by the Williams story? Have you experienced grief or anxiety over it? Has your sense of security been eroded? Psychologist Dr. Oren Amitay and psychotherapist Lynne MacDonell will join CBC News Your Voice on Friday, Oct. 22, at 12 p.m. ET to answer your questions on dealing with traumatic events.
