A photo spread in GQ magazine featuring the stars of the hit show Glee is drawing outrage from parents groups in the U.S. The Parents Television Council released a statement saying the "hyper-sexualized" spread "borders on pedophilia." The TV show centres on a high school glee club and though the actors in the photo shoot are all in their 20s, the characters they play are teenagers.
The same parents group also recently spoke out against Miley Cyrus's provocative new music video, blasting the former Disney star for "sending the wrong message" to her young fans.
Is the recent GQ spread on Glee inappropriate? Do you think media portrayals of teens are over-sexualized? Take our survey.
(This survey is not scientific. It is based on readers' votes.)
