More women are expected to seek butt lifts in the new year, according to the American Society of Esthetic Plastic Surgery.
The cosmetic surgery group said in a report that celebrities such as Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez have made a shapely rear end a "must-have accessory." The group is predicting more patients seeking buttock lifts, as well as surgical and non-surgical buttock augmentation.
The group is also expecting a rush to replace aging breast implants in baby boomer women.
Overall, the doctors said they expect a more diverse group of people will be seeking cosmetic surgery in 2011. Among the more popular procedures are non-surgical facial rejuvenation, and injectable cosmetic enhancement products such as Botox.
