Drivers in Quebec and Ontario were involved in hundreds of accidents over the weekend as dropping temperatures and wet weather made roads slick and dangerous.

Weather forecasters in Quebec are predicting another five to 15 millimetres of precipitation across central regions, 30 to 80 millimetres in eastern Quebec and more than 100 millimetres in the Gasp and Lower North Shore.
