As the calendar year comes to an end, its obvious this has been a big year for news. From the BP oil spill, to WikiLeaks, to Gaga's meat dress from the MTV Video Music Awards, 2010 has given us a lot to talk about.

CBC Your Voice and CBC Radio's Day 6 want to hear what you think has been this year's biggest newsmaker.

This is your chance to control the news. The results from this survey, and others at cbc.ca/day6/thebig6 will dictate the content of the Day 6 Jan. 1 show on CBC radio 1, so be sure to make your nominations soon!

What do you think has been the biggest newsmaker this year? Take this survey, and let us know.

(This is not a scientific survey. It is based on readers responses').
