Good morning, everyone.

Close to the finish line now, and the number of new films being unspooled has slowed to a trickle. TIFF actually runs until tomorrow, but the final gala happens tonight. Director Missy Tadjedin's Last Night is a drama about marital infidelity that's guaranteed to deliver one last surge of star power to the fest. The impossibly good-looking Keira Knightley, Sam Worthington (the main blue dude from Avatar) and Eva Mendes will no doubt send autograph hounds into paroxysms of excitement.

This final weekend of TIFF 2010 gives film-goers a chance to check out some of the product that has generated the most buzz; there are all kinds of repeat screenings.

Danny Boyle's 127 Hours appears to be a shoo-in for Oscar consideration. It's the director's first film since Slumdog Millionaire, and it couldn't be more different than his made-in-Mumbai crowd-pleaser. James Franco plays real-life mountain climber Aron Ralston, who ran into serious trouble in Utah a few years back and was forced to saw off his lower right arm after being trapped by a boulder.

John Cameron Mitchell's Rabbit Hole - a drama about a couple trying to cope with the death of their child - entered TIFF as a bit of an unknown quantity, but leaves the fest with a distribution deal and serious Oscar discussion surrounding Nicole Kidman.

Darren Aronofsky's Black Swan is a Polanski-style psychological thriller about a rather turbulent production of Swan Lake. Starring Natalie Portman, Vincent Cassel and Mila Kunis.
