Question of the Day

Does Canada take good enough care of its veterans?

An independent report says war veterans in Canada are not paid enough. The study, done by Aon Consulting for the Veterans Ombudsman's office, said when Ottawa switched to a new way of compensating wounded members of the military, those veterans received far less. Some veterans said the report vindicates the comments by outgoing Veterans Ombudsman, Pat Stogran, who accused Ottawa of "penny-pinching" veterans. Veterans Afairs says it is reviewing the matter.

Do you think Canada take good enough care of its veterans?
