8 Unboxers on YouTube That Won’t Drive You Nuts

By Jenn Cox

Mar 14, 2017

When you’re a kid, what’s the best part about getting a new toy? Yep, it’s opening the box, taking off all the packaging, and going through each and every little piece that it comes with. Well, today’s modern kid can see just about any toy being opened (usually by someone else) on YouTube, where “unboxing” videos have become the biggest rage (and are a huge money maker for these YouTubers).

Whether they’re hosted by kids or kids at heart (it may be surprising that grown adults open toys on camera, but the kids love it), unboxers are not only keeping our kids entertained, but they are also dictating, in many ways, what craze our children will get into next.

The kids are gonna watch them, so if they are, might as well be something that won’t make you want to pull your hair out. Here are 8 unboxers who make videos that won’t drive you nuts. Probably.

DisneyCollecterBR

You can find slews of articles on this wildly successful unboxer, who has been at it for a few years now, recording videos of just her hands opening toys as she softly narrates the process. No one really knows who the woman is behind these videos, but she’s undoubtedly one of the wealthiest unboxers out there (she is also behind the channel Blu Toys, which features unboxing videos aimed at preschoolers and young school-aged kids).

Hailey's Magical Playhouse

Hailey loves to do everything from opening surprise eggs and jumping on inflatable toys to playing Disney princess dress up and with other brand-specific toys (Peppa Pig, Paw Patrol, etc.). And you can watch as she invites little ones to join her in all of the unboxing, unpackaging, kid-friendly YouTube fun.

Ryan ToysReview

Ryan just might be the most successful 4-year-old out there! Starting his YouTube channel when he was 3, his mom quit her full-time teaching job to manage the channel, which posts regularly and features a number of popular toys.

ToyBoxCollectibles

This channel is hosted by Hannah and a husband-and-wife team, Cupquake and Red. Cupquake got her start with Minecraft videos, and since then has started making videos with her husband Red and other friends. They unbox toys and collectibles on this family-friendly channel.

Gabe & Garrett

Maybe the luckiest brothers ever, these two boys (8 and 10) started posting videos unboxing ride-on toys with their dad. Today they have a fleet of kiddie vehicles that would make any kid swoon, and they’re popular enough that kids will watch Gabe and Garrett do just about anything, from open presents on Christmas morning to trick-or-treat on Halloween.

Evantube

With more than 3 million subscribers, Evantube has everything on his channel including unboxing toys, video games, science experiments, special effects, animation and other fun stuff. Ideal for younger elementary students.

FGTEEV

This is one fun family, and all of them get involved in their YouTube channel. Not only do they feature unboxing videos but they love gaming (Minecraft, Angry Birds, FNAF, Mario Kart, Disney Infinity), they’re also hilarious. Lots of fun for young viewers (and maybe even you).

Jay Squared

Yes, he may be a “dude with dolls” (as he put in his description), but he’s adored by little girls everywhere because he unboxes dolls and other toys: American Girl, Shopkins, Barbie, Monster High, and more. Parents also love his videos because he also unboxes retro dolls (remember Dolly Surprise?).
